【摘要】:Thispracticeconsistsofthreeannexes:hullstructure,outfitting,andcoating.Thesubjectoftheseannexeswasselectedforseveralreasons.Othercommercialshipbuildingnationsalreadyhaveinplacewidelyrecognizedstandardsofexpectationsintheseareas.Theseconstitutethemostsignificantareaswhereworkmanshipisacriticalfactorincustomersatisfaction.Thecostassociatedwiththelaborinvolvedinthesethreeareasisasignificantfactorinconstructionman-hoursandoverallschedules.Thestandardcriteriaprovidedinthispracticeareintendedtoapplytoconventional,commercialshipconstruction.Inmanycases,specialized,nonconventionalvesselsusingnonstandardmaterialsorbuilt-to-servesolerequirementsmayrequireuniqueacceptancecriteriathatarebeyondthoseprovidedinthispractice.
