【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforfabricatedormoldedpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)gasketedsewerfittingstobeusedwithpipingmanufacturedtoSpecificationsD3034,F679,F891orF1760.Fabricatedfittingsmaybemanufacturedfrompipe,orfromacombinationofpipeandinjectionmoldedparts,orfrominjectionmoldedparts.TherequirementsofthisspecificationaretoprovidefabricatedormoldedPVCgasketedfittingssuitablefornon-pressuredrainageofsewageandsurfacewater,aswellasapplicationsinvolvingsubsurfacedrainage.Note1-Industrialwastelinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthegoverningcodeauthoritywhenusingchemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersortemperaturesinexcessof140?F(60?C),orboth.Fittingsproducedtothisspecificationareintendedtobeinstalledwithpipe,inaccordancewithPracticeD2321.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsaregiveninparentheses.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainstothetestmethodportiononly,Section10,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
